This O-ring is made of black Buna-nitrile, is round in cross-section, has a durometer of 70A, and is designed for use in a wide variety of sealing applications.

Buna-nitrile can have high tensile strength, and abrasion, tear, and compression set resistance. It can be used in temperatures between -30 degrees F (-34 degrees C) to 250 degrees F (121 degrees C), and is compatible for use with petroleum, HFA, HFB and HFC fluids, vegetable oil, alcohol, acids and aliphatic hydrocarbons. Buna-nitrile is vulnerable to acetone, ethers, esters, ozone, sunlight and weathering and should therefore not be used in ozone-generating electric motors, welding equipment, or in applications with exposure to UV light.

This Buna O-ring has a shore durometer of 70A. Shore durometer is the hardness of a material, and its resistance to permanent indentation. A higher durometer value indicates greater resistance to indentation on a scale of 0 to 100, with 100 indicating no indentation.

O-rings commonly provide a pressure and fluid seal between cylindrically shaped, overlapping mating surfaces and are commonly seen in engines, faucets, flanges, valves, and various cylinders. They are circular in shape, with a round cross section, and a hole in the center, similar to a doughnut. O-rings are available in various sizes, and can be ordered based on required nominal inside diameter (ID), outer diameter (OD), and cross-sectional (CS) diameter.

These Buna-nitrile O-rings meet standards defined by Aerospace Standard AS568A, which is the Aerospace Size Standard for O-rings.

MINI LOOP STRAP is a snap to attach to cameras, binoculars or light meters with only one connection point. It can be comfortably worn around the neck or over the shoulder. Merely fold over the cord, slide it through the connection area and create an opening large enough to loop through the main strap. It measures approximately 16½” and is an extremely secure and simple attachment. The small cord allows the strap to be threaded through a tight connection area. MINI LOOP STRAP -QD offers increased versatility over the regular MINI LOOP STRAP. It has a large range of adjustability using a unique slide and includes a small quick disconnect (QD) for added convenience. The quick disconnect enables the user to quickly remove their equipment in order to attach the CAM STRAP-QD wrist version or to merely store the equipment away in a small pouch. Ituses a loop-style attachment for cameras, binoculars or light meters with only one connection point. Merely disconnect the QD, slidethe small cord through the connection area creating an opening large enough to loop through the remaining part of the QD. Once secured, simply reattach to the main body of the strap. MINI LOOP STRAP-QD is adjustable from approximately 17″-25″ (43 cm – 63, 5 cm) and can be comfortably worn around the neck or shoulder.

I too have had problems with this, but was set to purchace another until I read the reviews here. I use it primarily for it’s FM *reception* and not for broadcast abilities. There are LOTS of choices for *that*. I agree that it requires the earsets for broadcast transmission and of course you’d need them to receive FM (or you’d never know what you’re not hearing!).
The unit worked flawlessly for over a year and then without incident it developed an issue with refusing to turn on. About one day in three or four it’ll work. On the others it comes on then immediately shuts itself off. The other negative reviewers were not specific enough for me to determine if this was the same issue they were experiencing.
For now, I’ll look for an alternative adapter for FM reception.

This is the second FM transmitter I have bought for my car. First I owned the BELKIN, which I do not reccommend at all. It could not hold reception for anything. This one works great! I have a GMC Yukon with a stock radio. I was going to get a new radio, but if you are familiar with GM cars, you’ll know that they need an additional $110.00 worth of wires, harnesses and dash kits to put in any aftermarket stereo. Add that to the “Brain” as they call it, you need to make your new stereo iPod compatible and it adds up quick. I just did not want to put $400-$600 into that right now.

The transmitter is great for fm reception too. I love love love that it has that clear little cover that keeps fingers and any surface at all off of my iPod. We all know how badly these things scratch!

My only nitpick’s are that it really needs a armband or a pocketsnap. If I wanted to take it with me on a walk or to the gym (to use the fm radio part) I would have to stick it in my pocket or hold it.

Also, I would like it if the back was anti skid for when I set it down in my car. It really slides around, so I set it in the cupholder. Unless I have drinks, then I have to set it on the console where it it constanly skidding around and falling on the floor if I corner too fast. (Or if my husband is driving!)

Lastly, if you live in a area where it is hard to find a good clear station to use, try plugging your iPod earphones into it. This somehow helps clear up static if there is any.

I bought this from a local store and paid about $15.00 more plus tax. I should have bought it here.

This wamsutta sheet seems to be of their usual high quality and it’s very heavy compared to cheaper sheets, but it still has that very soft, smooth sateen feeling. I have only had this product long enough to wash it twice, and I haven’t noticed how it could wear quickly as some other reviewers have suggested. I will definitely update this info if I find any signs of wear or low quality – count on it. In the mean time, this was a great price and the honey color is just what I wanted, not too orange. Wish they had the standard pillow cases to match.

when I first used this I could not get the tape to press and it would come through the machine. Then I read the directions and realized that although this is a simple enough machine as with anything – READ the directions!! The machine needs to be at the correct temperature for the fabric and you need to push the reset button to keep it hot. Pull the fabric through the tip and across the ironing surface before snapping the ironing piece in place. When you put the ironing plate on, make sure you slide it to the side (away from the fabric strips) so it locks firmly in place. I found when I did everything correctly, it worked really well – and saved so much time.

Not sure if I got a dud or not but mine didn’t get hot enough to hold the folds. I had to re-iron as I went along and I felt that pretty much defeated the purpose of the bias tape maker so I returned it.

I haven’t even opened the case yet, but I don’t know if I want to. It is coming unglued, plus there is glue all over the outside of the case. My hands are sticky from pulling it out of the box.

I expected more from the Cuisinart name. The wood was stained a very weird, un-appealing color but that isn’t why I returned it. They glued the leather onto the case with about 5 times tha glue needed. I could barely pry it open to get to the tools but the ‘leather’ peeled right off in my hands. Steer Clear.

I just opened this set and the tongs in my case are NOT as pictured-I looked all over for the HINGED style tongs, NOT the solid type.I am disappointed in that. This was purchased for a gift and I don’t have time to re-order. Again I looked for quite some time for the other style tongs. I wouldn’t have ordered had I known.This is NOT represented in the picture, as I zoomed-in to have a closer look.

Based on its price point, I had limited expectations for this saw (I also own a Festool TS55, see my review). I purchased this saw based on experience with other Hitachi products. After installing a 60 tooth blade for cutting in plywood and MDF, I was pleasantly surprised with the accuracy and consistency of cuts using a home-made straight-edge made from masonite and MDF. It is very good for cutting panels to size and also cutting 2x4s as required (a 24 tooth framing blade is supplied with the saw). Although lacking in bells and whistles and reminiscent in design of a 1960s era Skilsaw, this is not necessarily a bad thing. It is exceptionally light, no small factor if one is cutting 2x4s all day on a jobsite. A step up from the cheap circular saws sold at Sears and big-box stores, and is much smoother and better balanced; all other things being equal, it appears it will last longer as well. I have no complaints; this is the saw you take when you are cutting forms or working on a deck or need to frame out a house.

I had to replace my 15 year old Craftsman saw so this one looked like a good deal. I wanted to try Hitachi anyway so this was a good time to try one out. I used it to build a custom 40′ X 18′ deck. Worked great. No complaints.

I purchased new from Amazon for $69.95 which is a good deal. However if the price is over $100 your better off getting the Dewalt for an additional $15-$20. This saw is lightweight and powerful. It is a great home owner saw for occasional use. For full time construction/carpentry use, it falls short of the Dewalt, Makita, or Portacable. The carry case does not have a place for the wrench and the rip fence, which is not a big deal, but wrapping the power cord and closing the case is a challenge. The base of the saw is very sturdy and easy to adjust, the numbers are easy to read. Overall quality and feel is about a 3 out of 5.
